Kentucky ElderLaw Acquires Elder Law Solutions

Louisville, Kentucky January 25th, 2022

Kentucky ElderLaw, PLLC has acquired Elder Law Solutions, a life care planning firm in Shepherdsville, Ky.

Elder Law Solutions founder, Emily Korfhage Monarch, recently announced her candidacy for district court judge in Jefferson County (Ky.) Division 1. Monarch selected Kentucky ElderLaw to assume her practice to ensure her clients receive the holistic counsel they expect from a life care planning firm.

“I chose Kentucky ElderLaw because they were in the best position to take care of my existing and future clients. I knew that not only would their attorneys provide competent legal advice to clients, but their elder care coordinators would also help clients make the best care decisions,” Monarch said.

Kentucky ElderLaw, which has offices in Louisville and Bowling Green, Ky., will maintain the Shepherdsville office that Elder Law Solutions occupied.

Kelly Gannott, one of the owners of Kentucky Elder Law, said they look forward to being convenient for residents in Bullitt, Hardin, and South Jefferson counties. “Emily has been a strong and caring advocate for people in those areas, and we’re proud to continue her good work,” Gannott said.

Founded nearly 20 years ago, Kentucky ElderLaw serves clients in Kentucky and Indiana. They are members of the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and have attorneys accredited in VA benefits. The firm currently has eight attorneys, with Misty Clark Vantrease and John Dotson being the other two owners in addition to Gannott.
