Terra grew up in Franklin in South Central Kentucky. As a senior in high school, she worked at a local law firm after school. It was there that she first gained an interest in the law.

While in college, Terra studied social work and spent her summers serving with World Changers. She also spent a semester abroad serving in West Africa with the International Mission Board. These experiences led her to pursue her law degree in hopes of continuing to serve others.

During law school, Terra was a law clerk at Kentucky ElderLaw. She was also a member of the University of Louisville Law Review, an Ed Perry Mediation Fellow, and a Brandeis Honor Scholar. After graduation, she joined Kentucky ElderLaw as an attorney and is excited to continue serving older adults and their families.
