The best things in life are free. While lawyers are not always described as the best things in life, we are sometimes useful to have around. When those moments occur, three types of fee structures are possible: a flat fee or fixed rate; an hourly billing; or a contingency fee.

Flat fee or fixed rate billing is where the exact price of the services is specified ahead of time. Drafting documents, Medicaid Planning and Medicaid Submission are done on a flat fee basis. The client knows the cost of the work to be done and agrees to it before any work begins. There are no additional charges for phone calls, meetings, or updates on your plan.

There is no charge for the initial interview. We will quote a fee once we understand the issues involved, if it is in an area where we can be of assistance, and if we agree to accept you as a client.

Hourly billing is sometimes used in some matters such as Guardianship or Probate, where the amount of time needed to provide the service is quite variable.

Our current rate is $200 per hour.

We do not accept contingency fee cases. This type of fee arrangement is typically used in personal injury lawsuits.
